Welcome to the Pulaski Park Neighborhood Association website!

The Pulaski Park Neighborhood Association (PPNA)  is a membership organization of residents, homeowners and businesses in the area bounded by Division Street, Ashland Avenue and the Kennedy Expressway on the near northwest side of Chicago, Illinois.

We work closely with  the aldermanic, chamber of commerce and  police departments to ensure our community's needs are met and make recommendations to the Aldermanic offices regarding neighborhood zoning changes and improvements.   We now have quarterly e-business meetings, publish this on-line newsletter/website and annually host a summer picnic, a Canine Carnival for dog owners at the local dog park, neighborhood clean-ups and a winter holiday party.

PPNA is open to all community residents or business owners and we always welcome new members.  Join in, we'd love to see you at our next event!

New Times and Dates for 1433 CAPS

The 1433 BEAT CAPS meetings are now on the 2nd Thursday of every EVEN numbered month at the Pulaski Park Fieldhouse, 1419 W  Blackhawk at 7 pm.

Stop by AUGUST, our newest specialty grocery at the corner of Division and Greenview,  to check out their weekday lunch or dinner specials or weekly cooking classes - George will help you with how to prepare fish, poultry or red meats and you get dinner, too -  classes are on most Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-9 pm.

Don't forget to support our local businesses in the area.   What makes our special are the many diverse shops, bakeries, boutiques, restaurants and clubs in the East Village, West Town, Wicker Park and Bucktown neighborhoods.

Have you made any new friends lately?

Join us at the next PPNA business  meeting!

Are you interested in having the dog park become an official Park District dog park?  Money must be raised to show community support for the CPD to officially create a dog park with running water, pavement, et al.  If interested in helping, please email us at: ppnamail@yahoo.com.

Have you enjoyed one of the PPNA sponsored K9 Carnivales?  Kudos to Fred Holland for his devotion to Elmo and the rest of the neighborhood pups, when they enjoy the day of fun, games and treats each summer.

Have a photo from the neighborhood you want to share with us?  Send a .jpg to ppnamail@yahoo.com .
